Our “Sister” Non-Profit (501c3)
Why two different companies?
When establishing my business plan, I aimed to maintain my 501©(3) nonprofit status to utilize volunteers and have a separate board dedicated to the welfare of the elderly in our community. My vision was to create an organization that could fill the gaps left by standard home health agencies, providing services such as meals, ramps, and sitter services. I wanted it to be a comprehensive resource for all elderly needs in our community, ensuring we are not like other areas with limited resources for their senior citizens.
As many of you know, a nonprofit is essentially owned by its board, not by any individual. My goal was to create a mission-driven organization, not focused on personal income but on serving our elderly. This mission remains: to see every elderly person not just as our “grey-haired” peers but as individuals crowned with “glory” by our Creator (Proverbs 16:31).
In addition, I wanted to establish a for-profit side that I could own and oversee, staffing trained Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and meeting all state requirements. From the beginning, my pledge has been that this endeavor is not about money but about the mission. However, I recognize the need to generate income to support my family, provide good salaries for our employees, and plan for the future. My goal is to reinvest as much profit as possible from Grey to Glory Home Health into the “sister” Grey to Glory nonprofit to offer these essential services to our community.
What kinds of things can the Non-Profit side offer?
Well I am so glad you asked! I have big dreams for this organization. I will first start with the things we are currently able to do and then explain more of what the plans are in the future (as funds began to become more available)

Currently Available Services Include The following:
Fresh Meals, Delivered with Care
At Grey to Glory Inc, we’ve seen firsthand that many seniors rely heavily on frozen or canned meals due to limited mobility and support. While local senior centers and programs like Meals on Wheels provide helpful resources, there is still a need for hot, freshly prepared meals delivered directly to the home. Through our nonprofit, volunteers and team members help provide home-delivered, freshly cooked meals to seniors in our community. This service is available to individuals who:
-
Are age 65 or older
-
Are mostly homebound
-
Have limited family assistance
Because space is limited, we prioritize those with the most urgent needs. Applications are available at our office or can be emailed upon request. We also welcome applications from those who would like to volunteer and serve in this meaningful way.
Helping Hands for a Cleaner, Safer Home
Caring for aging parents or grandparents can be overwhelming. As we age, everyday household tasks can become more difficult, and many seniors need extra help keeping their homes clean and safe. Through Grey to Glory Inc, we’ve partnered with the Earthen Vessels Women’s Recovery Center to provide light housekeeping assistance to elderly individuals in our community. The women in the program, under the supervision of their counselors, help us meet this important need. We also welcome volunteers who want to serve—especially youth groups seeking service hours. Yard work is a wonderful way to get involved and make a meaningful impact. This service is available to individuals age 65 and older who have limited family or friend support. If you would like more information—whether to refer someone in need or to volunteer—please call or stop by our office.
Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity
One of the most common questions we hear in patients’ homes is whether we provide incontinence supplies such as briefs and wipes. Unfortunately, traditional home health agencies cannot bill for or supply these items under Medicare or most managed care replacement plans. Unless a patient has supplemental coverage, these essential products often become a significant out-of-pocket expense. In rural communities especially, nonprofit assistance can be limited. That’s why Grey to Glory Inc uses generous donations from our supporters to help bridge this gap. Through donated funds, we provide essential items such as:
-
Incontinence briefs, pads, and wipes
-
Walkers and canes
-
Wheelchairs
-
Other basic medical necessities
To ensure fairness and prevent misuse, consumable items are distributed in limited monthly quantities so we can serve as many individuals as possible. While it may not meet every need in full, every little bit truly helps. Donations may be dropped off at: 11288 NW State Road 20 Bristol, FL 32321. Receipts for tax purposes are available upon request.
Little Miss Traveling Nail Salon
At Grey to Glory Inc, we believe in spreading joy through every act of service. One of our most heartwarming outreach programs is the Little Miss Traveling Nail Salon—a special initiative where young girls, alongside their adult sponsors, visit elderly ladies in our community to provide simple manicures and heartfelt companionship. While fresh polish and gentle pampering are part of the visit, the true purpose is much deeper. Our “Little Misses” share kindness, encouragement, and God’s love with every stop. In the process, they also learn valuable lessons in empathy, confidence, and the joy of serving others. Each visit is filled with laughter, meaningful conversation, and sweet moments between generations. For many of the ladies we serve, these visits are something they eagerly look forward to—not just for the pampering, but for the connection. It’s a beautiful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact.
Non-Skilled Support Services (Compassion-Based Care)
Through our nonprofit organization, Grey to Glory Inc., we are expanding our ability to support families beyond skilled medical care.
While we work toward offering a broader range of non-skilled services, we are currently able to provide sitter services in urgent or desperate situations, made possible through donated funds. These services are intended to bring relief and peace of mind to families facing difficult circumstances.
Non-skilled services typically include:
-
Bathing and personal care assistance
-
Daytime sitting and companionship
-
Help with light household tasks
-
Running local errands
-
General supervision and support
For those who are able, services may be offered at a modest fee to help sustain and expand this outreach—while continuing to assist those in greatest need.
Trusted Private Duty Sitters
At this time, Grey to Glory Inc. can also provide a list of private duty sitters who have been carefully vetted by our Board. These are individuals we know, trust, and would feel confident caring for our own patients and loved ones. Our mission is to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and compassionate presence—ensuring that no family feels alone in their time of need. If you have questions about which services may be right for you or your loved one, we are always here to help guide you.
Wheel Chair Accessible Ramps
Grey to Glory Inc. has established a dedicated fund for the construction of code-compliant ramps. In the past, several churches have generously volunteered their time and effort, and we intend to continue this collaboration. Additionally, we plan to partner with licensed contractors who will be available to build a certain number of ramps each year.
Given the high cost of these projects, recipients will be asked if they can contribute any amount of financial aid to help with the construction. This approach ensures that we can extend this valuable service to as many individuals as possible.
As the LORD blesses, we will continue to provide aide to our elderly in whatever way we can. Please stop by for more information or give me a call.
How Can You Help?
Pray
The best way you can help this organization be everything that I feel God has allowed me to do, is to pray. Pray that God would send the best and most compassionate workers and volunteers. Pray that God would allow us to be His hands and feet by offering needed aid. Pray that God would open doors for us to witness to those who may not have a relationship with him. Pray that God would give me clarity when making decisions. King Solomon prayed for wisdom and understanding and that has been my prayer from the very beginning. God give me wisdom to know what is right and what is wrong. God help me to lead in a manner worthy of your calling on my life. God help me to understand that life isn’t about me, it is all about Jesus and making sure that I use my life for his eternal kingdom.
Request Us
The second most important thing you can do is to choose local when seeking skilled services such as medication management, IV therapy, catheter care, disease process education, and therapy. By selecting Grey to Glory Home Health, you not only receive top-quality care but also support the funding of additional services provided by our nonprofit side, Grey to Glory Inc., alongside donations.
Our area has many home health competitors, but the choice is entirely yours; not even your doctor can decide for you. It is your legal right to choose the agency you prefer. Our agency is accredited and licensed, fully equipped to meet all your needs. Please give us the opportunity to serve you.
Volunteer
The need is great, and the workers are few. We invite you to volunteer with us. Whether it’s cooking and delivering a fresh meal, cleaning a house, or picking up a yard, your help can make a significant difference. Please stop by for an application. We have been praying for God to send you!
